- a) 1) I agree, I find it natural to connect with people who share my interests, especially when we bond over things like music or hobbies.
2) I disagree with the opinion that friends should never be selfish. I think that everyone has selfish moments. What matters is that friends recognize it and apologize. Nobody’s perfect! 3) Absolutely! My closest friends are the ones I can be 100% real with – whether I’m ranting about school or sharing weird thoughts. They never judge me.
4) I don’t think so. Money is tricky – I’d never expect this. True friendship is about emotional support, not wallets. Besides, not everyone can help financially.
5) I can’t agree with that. Sometimes we run out of things to do! But even then, just hanging out is comforting. It’s okay to have quiet moments too.
6) So true. From concert adventures to helping each other through tough times, these shared memories make friendships special.
7) I think that healthy boundaries are key. For example, I’d never share a friend’s secret without permission – even with other close friends. Trust is everything.

I like to make new friends straight away so I can have a social life as soon as possible. I’m a friendly person so I don’t usually have any problems.

Speaker D: I don’t have many friends probably because I am very shy, but one or two friends are enough if they are friends you can trust and who really care about you. It’s not worth having dozens of friends if they only think of themselves.
Speaker E: I have done so much with my friends. We’ve climbed mountains, swam rivers, and gone hiking and camping together. More than that though, we’ve grown up together and gone through the same things.
Speaker F: I have a couple of very good friends, but they don’t expect me to tell them every single thing I think or feel! I think it’s a bit weird; it’s like you don’t have any part of yourself that is just for you.
