  8. ”I won’t do it,” he said. (refused)      
  9. ”OK, I’ll help them,” she said. (agreed)       
  10. ”Please, please, don’t tell anyone,” she said. (begged)

В косвенной речи отрицание выражается через not to + инфинитив: warn + object + not to + infinitive 

 

  1. He asked how long I was going to stay.

Время сдвигается назад (are going to => was going to)

 

  1. She complained that she had got too much homework to do.

complain + that + clause — передача жалобы

Время сдвигается назад (present perfect => past perfect).

 

  1. He suggested going to the cinema.

suggest + gerund (-ing form) — после глагола suggest обычно используется герундий

 

  1. He denied stealing the money.

deny + gerund (-ing form)   

 

  1. She advised me to see a doctor.

advise + object + to-infinitive — конструкция для передачи совет

 

  1. He reminded Ann to call them when she arrived.

remind + object + to-infinitive — конструкция для передачи напоминания

 

  1. He refused to do it.

refuse + to-infinitive — конструкция для передачи отказа  

 

  1. She agreed to help them.  

agree + to-infinitive — конструкция для передачи согласия

 

  1. She begged me not to tell anyone.

beg + object + not to + infinitive — конструкция для передачи просьбы или мольбы с отрицанием
