Решение #1
- Matthew is sending the letter to Mrs. Jacobs.
- They are related through Steve, Mrs. Jacobs’ son, who is Matthew’s best friend.
- The letter should answer Mrs. Jacobs’ three questions about the surprise party (who to invite, whether a theme party is a good idea, and entertainment ideas) and include three additional questions from Matthew about the party’s details.
- A semi-formal style should be used. While Matthew is close to Steve, he’s writing to his mother, requiring politeness and respect.
- The letter could start with a polite greeting («Dear Mrs. Jacobs») and a reference to the previous communication. The ending could include a closing remark expressing willingness to help further («I look forward to hearing from you») followed by a polite closing («Sincerely, Matthew»).
